| oh blimey ladies just when i thought i was mega sorted something always blows up in my face, i am in the process of sorting out the application for our wedding licence as we have to apply for a special type as kerry has been married before, so we have to get a letter from an ontario lawyer to state that there is no reason why we cant get married , and that kerry is actually divorced etc etc, we then had to get a sworn letter written for kerry by a lawyer here in england stating all that which has taken a week to sort and it is less then a month to the wedding , the thing that bothers me the most is that it can take apperently 4 weeks for the application to process! which means we are really cutting it fine! if it doesnt get done in time it means we cant get married on the date we have planned, i am really worried and more so because people are coming over specifaiclly for our wedding, taking there holiday time to come over and sorting there weeks of for that date! i just feel like i cant carry on with all the other bits and bobs i have to do until i know what is going on! aaaaaahhhhh! sorry about that i just needed to vent! so everyone keep there fingers crossed for me! |

Oh my goodness.... things do sound complicated.
Is the legal issue already started? You have six weeks before the wedding... sounds like you'll have plenty of time...... but I can understand the stress..... hang in there girl, things will work out. I have my fingers crossed for you.... and I'll keep you in my prayers.
If there is anything I can do to help... let me know..

Hey Pat!
thansk hun! appreciate it, but all we can do now is wait, we only found out about the leagl aspects of it the other week we didnt realise we need too have so much information, but we have been very lucky as the lawyer there in Sarnia has been fab, really helpful and we had a family friend who is a lawyer here in engalnd who helped us out with the letter that was needed, so it really is a waiting game, hopefully it will be processed quickly! xx |

Hi Jen!
thanks hun! still keeping our fingers crossed, but they know thw date of the wedding, so hopefully it will be fine! We also have decided to change the time of the ceremony from 3 to 5, as we have heard that your weather has been a bit hot and humid lately, and as us brits aren't used to that kind of weather it was suggested that maybe put it back a few hours so it wont be as hot (hopefully) and also the riding club would be a great back drop for a sunset wedding! |
